My Workspace
My work area is at the end of the bar where the laptop is. From this position, I can see into the living area and into the kitchen.

That's a piece of blue styrofoam "noodle" that's covering the steel footrest...we had put it on there to prevent our son from knocking his teeth out on it when he first started walking and have just never removed it.
